We are sponsored by the Arab Film & Media Institute and will submit this pilot to festivals the following summer and we intend to hold several premieres. Due to the student nature of this project it is unpaid (but meals & credit provided).

Storyline: When Haifa is expelled from college and returns home to her apartment building in Dearborn, Michigan, she is confronted by a disappointed mother, old nosy neighbours, and an old lady who has reason to believe that aliens are coming to invade Dearborn.

NAJI (6-10) - Supporting role. Middle-Eastern. Mariam’s younger son and Rashid’s younger brother. Naji is afraid of the aliens and no longer wants to be friends with Kareem anymore because of what they witnessed one night pulling a prank on Fatimah.
